Design Drawings
1. How should I send the print files to you?
You can send them via email, WhatsApp, WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc. For large files, we recommend using a cloud storage link.
2. Which file formats do you accept?
We recommend vector files such as AI, PDF, EPS, SVG, and CDR; formats like PSD, JPG, and PNG are also accepted.
3. Are AI, PDF, CDR, and PSD files all acceptable?
Yes. To ensure the best print quality, we prioritize vector files like AI, PDF, and CDR.
4. Can JPG or PNG images be used directly for production?
Yes, provided the images are sufficiently sharp. For designs involving logos and text, we strongly recommend providing vector files.
5. Why do you recommend vector files?
Vector files do not lose clarity when scaled up, making them ideal for printing, woven labels, hot stamping, embossing, laser processing, and mold making.
6. What if I don't have a vector file for my logo?
You can provide a high-resolution logo image; we will check if it is usable and can assist in redrawing it if necessary.
7. Should the text in the file be converted to outlines (curves)?
We recommend converting text to outlines before sending to prevent font-related issues or text changes.
8. Should the file dimensions be set to 1:1 scale?
We recommend creating the file at the actual finished size (1:1 scale) and clearly indicating the length, width, and units of measurement.
9. Does the file need to include bleed?
Printed items requiring trimming usually need a bleed area—typically 2–3 mm on all sides—though specific requirements depend on the product.
10. Can I keep reference lines and guidelines in the print file?
Yes, but we recommend placing auxiliary elements—such as die-cut lines, fold lines, and hot stamping paths—on separate, clearly named layers.
11. Can multiple designs be included in a single file?
Yes, but we recommend clearly labeling each design with its style number, dimensions, color, and quantity to avoid confusion during production.
12. How should front and back designs be provided?
Please clearly label them as “Front” and “Back,” and ensure the dimensions and orientation match on both sides.
13. How should files for different sizes or colors be named?
It is recommended to use the naming format “Product Name + Style Number + Size + Color“—for example, Hangtag_A01_M_Black.pdf—to facilitate verification and production.
Images and Clarity
1. What resolution is required for images?
For printing purposes, we recommend a resolution of 300 DPI to ensure the finished product is sharp and clear.
2. How can I tell if my image is sharp enough?
You can view the image at its actual production size; if it remains clear without noticeable jagged edges or blurriness when enlarged, it is generally suitable for use. We can also check this for you.
3. What should I do if the image looks blurry when enlarged?
We recommend providing a high-resolution original image or a vector file. Simple graphics, such as logos, can also be redrawn in vector format.
4. What should I do if my logo image has jagged edges?
This is usually caused by insufficient image resolution. We recommend providing vector logo files in formats such as AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF.
5. Can you help me redraw the logo?
Yes. For logos that are clear and have a relatively simple structure, we can assist in converting or redrawing them based on the original image, subject to the specific details of the artwork.
6. Can photos be used for printing hangtags or packaging?
Yes. We recommend providing high-resolution original photos and ensuring the resolution is approximately 300 DPI at the actual print size.
7. Which logo file format do you most recommend?
We recommend providing AI, EPS, SVG, or vector PDF files whenever possible, as these are most suitable for the production of hangtags, labels, woven tags, buttons, and other accessories.
Images and Clarity
1. How much bleed should be included in the hang tag file?
We recommend a bleed of 2–3 mm on all sides; this can be adjusted based on the product size and production process.
2. Does the hole position need to be marked on the hang tag?
Yes. Please indicate the hole’s location, diameter, and distance from the edge in the file.
3. Can a custom die-cut mold be created based on my design?
Yes. Once you provide the design draft, dimensions, and shape requirements, we can assist in creating the die-cut line.
4. What files are required for custom-shaped hang tags?
We recommend providing vector files (such as AI, PDF, or EPS) with the finished dimensions and cutting outline clearly marked.
5. Should rounded corners be marked in the file?
Yes, it is recommended to specify the corner radius (e.g., R3, R5) to ensure accurate production.
6. How should areas for gold or silver foil stamping be marked?
Please place the foil stamping elements on a separate layer and clearly label the specific process.
7. How should files be prepared for UV coating, embossing, or debossing?
Areas requiring special finishes must be placed on separate layers and clearly marked using vector graphics.
8. Should the front and back of the hang tag be provided as separate files?
They can be provided separately or in a single file, provided the front and back are clearly labeled.
9. Does the customer need to provide the barcode and QR code?
Yes. We recommend that the customer provide and verify the barcode data, QR code content, and related information.
10. Will the QR code still scan correctly after printing?
Yes, provided the QR code has sufficient size, clarity, and color contrast. A scan test will be performed before mass production.
11. What is the minimum text size for hang tags?
This depends on the font and printing process. To ensure readability, we do not recommend using text that is too small or too fine.
12. Can hang tags be printed using Pantone spot colors?
Yes. Please provide the exact Pantone color code, and we will match it based on the specific material and process.
13. Can hang tags be printed on both sides?
Yes; you can choose single-sided or double-sided printing based on your design.
14. Can hang tags feature multiple special finishes simultaneously?
Yes; techniques such as hot stamping, UV coating, debossing, and embossing can be combined—specifics would need to be confirmed based on the design.
15. What if I don't have a design file for the hangtag?
You can provide the logo, text content, dimensions, and reference images, and we can assist in creating the production files.
Production
1. How long does production take after the design is confirmed?
Once the design is approved, items such as hangtags, labels, buttons, and packaging bags can be produced within 14 days.
2. How can I verify product quality before shipment? What methods are available?
For smaller orders, we can provide a preview of the finished products by sending photos or videos.
For larger orders, we will send samples to the client for quality verification; shipment will proceed immediately upon approval.
3. Can I see photos or videos of my project being produced?
Certainly. Please let our staff know in advance, and we will take relevant photos during the production process.
4. Do you offer re-production or re-printing if an error occurs during manufacturing?
If the error is due to our fault, we will bear the cost and redo the production.
5. You offer a wide range of products; are you a trading company?
We are a factory. We primarily manufacture garment accessories such as hangtags and labels in-house, while buttons and other packaging materials are supplied by our partner companies.
Payment Questions
1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept various payment methods, including wire transfer (T/T), Western Union, PayPal, and credit cards.
2. What are your payment terms?
We typically require a 30% deposit before printing begins (the specific percentage is negotiable), with the balance due prior to shipment.
Note: If you choose to pay via wire transfer (T/T) or PayPal and the total order value is under $500, we recommend paying the full amount upfront. This saves on transaction fees, simplifies the process, and ensures a faster, more efficient transaction and production cycle.
3. Which currencies do you accept?
We accept US Dollars (USD) by default; we also accept Euros (EUR), Canadian Dollars (CAD), British Pounds (GBP), Australian Dollars (AUD), and Chinese Yuan (CNY).
4. Who is responsible for paying import duties, taxes, or excise duties?
Responsibility for the relevant duties or taxes depends on the agreed shipping terms, as follows:
1. EXW (Ex Works), CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight), FOB (Free on Board), DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), and DAP (Delivered at Place): Under these terms, the buyer is responsible for import duties, excise duties, and other taxes upon the goods’ arrival in the destination region.
2. DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): The seller covers all costs—including import duties, taxes, and excise duties—and delivers the goods directly to the buyer’s location at no extra cost to the buyer.
Before placing an order, please review the shipping terms and understand who is responsible for any additional costs related to customs and imports.
5. Can I cancel my order and get a refund after placing it?
Yes, you can request a refund at any time, provided that production has not yet begun and no custom materials have been prepared. Once production or personalization has started, a refund may no longer be possible.
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure a full refund and avoid disrupting your project schedule.
Packaging and Shipping
1. What is the delivery coverage of Tagsupplier.com?
We offer reliable global door-to-door delivery services, bringing garment accessories right to your doorstep—whether you are in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, or even remote regions.
2. How do you package my goods for shipping?
1. For sea freight (e.g., FOB, CIF), we pack the goods in reinforced cartons and place them on pallets.
2. For smaller shipments using DDP (door-to-door delivery), we use carton packaging only, without palletizing.
3. Can I have my logo printed on the outer packaging?
Yes, we can print your logo on the outer packaging, such as cartons or bags. You simply need to provide the logo artwork and specify the desired print location.
4. How do you protect my products from damage or moisture?
1. For air freight, we place products in waterproof plastic bags before packing them into sturdy cartons, which are then securely sealed with waterproof tape.
2. For sea freight, products are first placed in plastic bags and then into cartons; the cartons are stacked on pallets and secured with shrink wrap and heavy-duty industrial tape to ensure stability and prevent shifting.
5. How do you ensure on-time delivery?
Before production begins, we provide an estimated completion date for your confirmation. Please note that this is an estimate and may be subject to factors such as shipping, customs clearance, and weather conditions.
Currently, our on-time delivery rate exceeds 97%.
After-Sales Questions
1. How are quality issues handled after the goods are received?
For minor issues, we will provide compensation for the defective items and send replacements.
In the event of large-scale quality issues, we will manufacture a new batch of high-quality products to replace them and cover all associated costs (including those arising from market sales impacts, shipping delays, etc.).
2. How are discrepancies between the bulk shipment and the sample handled?
If the design remains unchanged yet discrepancies exist between the bulk production and the sample, we will destroy the defective items and manufacture the product according to the agreed-upon specifications; we will also provide compensation for the resulting shipping delay.
